Taco Salad with Tajín Crumbled Feta Cheese

A lighter, healthier version of the legendary taco salad! This easy taco salad is made with a few simple fresh ingredients. The zesty Athenos Tajín Crumbled Feta Cheese and bold taco meat pack made this salad protein rich and full of flavor!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 lb seasoned ground turkey
  • ½ cup water
  • ⅓ cup Athenos Tajín Crumbled Feta Cheese
  • Creamy cilantro dressing
  • Tajín Clásico seasoning

Method

1.Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat. Add in olive oil and seasoned ground turkey. Break apart the ground turkey and cook for 7-8 minutes or until cooked through.

2. Remove from heat and set aside to let the turkey cool.

3. In a large bowl add romaine lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes and Tajín Crumbled Feta Cheese. Drizzle with desired amount of creamy cilantro dressing and toss salad ingredients together. Distribute salad into 4 smaller salad bowls or 2 larger bowls. Top with cooked, seasoned turkey and a sprinkle of Tajín Clásico seasoning.
