Whipped Feta Jalapeno Popper Dip
With peak sporting season upon us, we all need some fresh tasty snacks for Game Day! This warmed whipped feta jalapeno dip is a spicy, cheesy appetizer dip that is perfect for serving up with fresh vegetables and pretzels.
INGREDIENTS
| 3 | minced jalapenos (with seeds for extra spice, without seeds to make milder) |
| 8 oz | Athenos Whipped Feta Cheese Dip and Spread |
| 1 cup | sour cream |
| 1 tsp | garlic powder |
| 2 cups | shredded mozzarella cheese |
| ¾ cup | Athenos Crumbled Traditional Feta cheese |

| ½ cup | panko breadcrumbs |
| 2 tbsp | unsalted butter, melted |
| ½ tsp | garlic powder |

Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- In a medium sized bowl mix together jalapenos, whipped feta cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese, and feta cheese crumbles until creamy and combined.
- Spread dip into a small 8x8 baking dish.
- In a small bowl mix together panko breadcrumbs, butter, and garlic powder. Top the panko topping on top of the cheese mixture evenly and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Serve with your favorite crackers.
