Pesto Feta Cheese Bombs
Italian night just got an upgrade with these flavorful pesto feta bombs. Premade biscuit dough is wrapped around a cube of feta, drenched in flavorful pesto and baked till golden brown and fluffy.
INGREDIENTS
| 1 tbsp | unsalted butter |
| 16 oz | biscuit dough |
| 4 oz | Athenos Traditional Chunk Feta cheese, cut into cubes |
| ½ cup | pesto |
| 1 cup | marinara sauce |
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a casserole dish with butter and set aside.
- Split each biscuit into two lengthwise by dividing the layers in half. You should be left with 16-18 dough rounds.
- Cut Athenos Traditional Chunk Feta into 16 - 1-inch cubes. Wrap one dough disk around each feta cube and seal edges to create a sphere.
- Coat each dough ball in pesto and place into the casserole dish. Brush any remaining pesto onto the tops of the dough balls.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
